Indian Cents 1882 1C MS67 Red PCGS. CAC. A spectacular Superb Gem displaying sweeping luster, a bold strike, and uniform cherry-red color. Carbon and contact are virtually absent. Traces of clashing are noted near the NT in CENT. Despite a generous mintage and hundreds of examples graded Mint State, the 1882 becomes vanishingly rare at the MS67 level. Only a single example, as MS67+ Red, is graded finer by PCGS, while NGC has yet to certify any as Red in grades above MS66 (3/26). PCGS Population: 3 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (3/26). CAC: 2 in 67, 0 finer (3/26).
